Michael Chang is the founder and CEO of Synergies Intelligent Systems, a Cambridge, Massachusetts company building JarviX, a no-code augmented analytics platform that lets factory workers and executives 'talk to their data' in plain language. An MIT-trained PhD in electrical engineering and computer science, he pivoted from optics, machine vision and computational biology research into the messy world of manufacturing data, spending years inside Foxconn where his analytics work reportedly saved a Shenzhen factory around $20 million. In 2022 he raised a $12 million Series A led by NGP Capital to bring conversational, AI-driven decision-making to legacy industries.
Brad Peters
Brad Peters is a serial analytics founder who has spent more than two decades trying to put real data science in the hands of people who do not write SQL. He founded Birst, one of the first cloud business intelligence platforms, grew it into a Gartner Magic Quadrant leader, and exited to Infor for $580 million in 2017. He is now founder and CEO of Scoop Analytics, a San Francisco startup building an AI 'data analyst' that connects to operational tools, investigates data on its own, and tells the story back to non-technical business users. He earlier helped build the analytics product line at Siebel Systems that became Oracle's OBIEE family, and started his career in Morgan Stanley's M&A practice.
Erin Tavgac
Erin Tavgac is the co-founder and CEO of Redbird, a New York based AI-powered analytics platform that lets non-technical employees run the full analytics pipeline - data prep, wrangling, analysis, reporting and data science - through natural language instead of code. A Stanford-trained ex-McKinsey consultant who spent a decade building data and consumer-insights practices, Tavgac launched the company (originally Cube Analytics) with brother Deren Tavgac, took it through Y Combinator's Winter 2022 batch, and raised a $7.6M oversubscribed seed led by B Capital. By 2024 Redbird had reframed itself around conversational AI agents and counted eight Fortune 50 brands among its customers.
