Server Ertem is the founder and CEO of Sanavia Oncology, a New York biotech developing antibody drug conjugates, T-cell engagers, and CAR-T therapies aimed at the roughly 80% of cancer patients whose tumors escape today's treatments. He built the company after a PhD in cancer cell biology at Weill Cornell, a postdoc at Memorial Sloan Kettering, and a Runway Startup Postdoc fellowship at Cornell Tech - stitching high-throughput cell biology, super-resolution microscopy, and machine learning into a platform designed to find cancer-specific epitopes on validated targets with atomic-level precision.
Zach Taft
Zach Taft is the CEO of IgniteData, a healthcare technology company whose Archer platform automates the transfer of clinical trial data straight from hospital electronic health records into pharma data-capture systems. Brought in by the founders in 2024, he has scaled the company from a handful of trial sites to a network spanning four continents and eight of the top ten U.S. cancer centers. Before IgniteData he helped drive the $1.1B acquisition of M*Modal by 3M, served as a 3M product leader, and ran digital innovation and ventures at Memorial Sloan Kettering, where he co-founded the Clinical Research Innovation Consortium. His obsession: cutting the weeks of manual data re-typing out of clinical trials so treatments reach patients faster.
Ilana Borkenstein
Ilana Borkenstein is the co-founder and CEO of M7 Health, a New York healthtech company building nurse staffing and scheduling software designed by the people who live the night shift. A registered nurse who worked a bone marrow transplant unit at Memorial Sloan Kettering - the literal M7 floor the company is named for - she turned a Harvard Business School class project into a platform now used daily by tens of thousands of clinicians across more than 60 hospitals. M7 has raised about $17 million, including a $10 million Series A led by Threshold Ventures, on a single idea: fix nurse scheduling not as a math problem but as a human one.
Philip Kantoff
Philip Kantoff is a medical oncologist who spent three decades shaping how the world treats prostate cancer, then walked away from running medicine at one of the country's largest cancer hospitals to start a company. As co-founder and CEO of Convergent Therapeutics in Cambridge, Massachusetts, he is developing CONV01-alpha, an alpha-emitting radioantibody that hunts down prostate tumor cells and irradiates them at close range. He has published more than 500 papers, been cited over 85,000 times, mentored a generation of oncology leaders, and at an age when most peers retire, raised $90 million in Series A funding to bring a new class of cancer therapy into the clinic.
