Stacie Arechavala
Stacie Arechavala is a biomedical engineer and the cofounder and CEO of Selera Medical (YC W24), a San Francisco medical device startup she started in 2023 with Kevin Bui after the two met as fellows at Stanford Biodesign. She trained at the University of Miami and Duke, developed cardiovascular devices at Medtronic, and built low-cost devices for underserved communities before turning her attention to heart failure care. Her guiding line: innovation can change the world, but design is what makes it happen.
David Carey
David Carey is the Chief Executive Officer of Preceptis Medical, the Golden Valley, Minnesota company behind the Hummingbird Tympanostomy Tube System, an FDA-cleared device that lets clinicians place pediatric ear tubes in the office without general anesthesia. Appointed CEO in July 2025, Carey brings three decades of commercial leadership across the medical device industry, including senior roles at Pristine Surgical, Stryker, Medtronic, and Invuity, where he helped guide the company through an IPO before its acquisition by Stryker. At Preceptis, he is focused on scaling the Hummingbird device to more surgeons and families nationwide.
Jeffery Ryan
Jeffery Ryan is the co-founder, president, and CEO of Interscope, Inc., a Massachusetts medical device company behind the EndoRotor System, a mechanical, non-thermal tool for interventional gastroenterology and pulmonology. A former U.S. Air Force captain who moved into medical device sales at Medtronic and Smith & Nephew, Ryan launched Interscope in 2013 with physician co-founder Dr. Ramon A. Franco, Jr., steering the EndoRotor from concept to FDA clearances and a 2020 distribution partnership with Micro-Tech Endoscopy.
Michael Onuscheck
Michael Onuscheck is CEO and Chairman of Presidio Medical, a San Mateo clinical-stage neuromodulation company developing an ultra-low-frequency waveform platform aimed at chronic pain. He joined in September 2021 after two years on the board, returning to neuromodulation after leading Alcon's global businesses and, earlier, Boston Scientific's Neuromodulation division.
Meena Ramachandran
Meena Ramachandran is the Chief Product Officer and Executive VP of People at Seen Health, a Los Angeles-based startup building culturally-focused PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) services for underserved Asian and Pacific Islander elders. With an electrical engineering foundation from Stanford and a dual MBA/MPH from UC Berkeley, she has spent two decades at the intersection of technology and healthcare - scaling product teams at Castlight Health, Myriad Genetics, and Brightline before joining Seen Health after its $22 million Series A in late 2024.
