Chris Severn is the co-founder and CEO of Turquoise Health, a San Diego company building software to make healthcare pricing transparent and to simplify the way hospitals and insurers contract and pay each other. The company has aggregated price data from thousands of hospitals and, in March 2026, raised a $40 million Series C led by Oak HC/FT to become what Severn calls the operating system for healthcare contracts and payments. He also teaches improv comedy and has testified before Congress on price transparency.
