A USC and Stanford-trained engineer, McKinney spent years at Uber helping launch Uber Freight before leaving to build Loop in 2021 with co-founder Shaosu Liu. The pair had watched firsthand how 20% of freight invoices contain errors and a single invoice takes 50 days to process - then decided to fix it.
