Steven Hunter
Steven Hunter is the CEO and co-founder of 9fin, an AI-native data and intelligence platform for the roughly $145 trillion global debt markets. A former leveraged finance banker at J.P. Morgan and investment executive at Babson Capital Management, he quit banking in 2016 to build the tool he wished he had, teaming with his university roommate Hussam El-Sheikh. In March 2026 the company raised $170 million in Series C funding at a $1.3 billion valuation, and now serves 300-plus of the world's leading credit institutions from offices in London, New York, Belfast, and Hong Kong.
Samuel Adeyemo
Samuel Adeyemo is the co-founder and CEO of Duranta, a Seattle software company building AI tools that help landscapers and lawn care businesses measure properties, design projects, and win contracts. Born in Nairobi and trained in finance at JP Morgan before pivoting to climate tech, he previously co-founded Aurora Solar, the solar design platform that grew to a reported $2 billion valuation and powers a large share of the U.S. residential solar market. In 2025 he raised a $7 million seed round for Duranta, backed by Base10 Partners, Pear, and angels including GitHub CEO Thomas Dohmke. His through-line is taking the unglamorous back-office work of physical-world trades and turning it into software.
Scott Lee
Scott Lee is the founder and CEO of Gooroo, a New York based education technology company building an AI-driven platform that matches students with the right tutor and bundles online courses, clubs and progress tracking under one roof. Born in Seoul and arriving in the US at 16 without speaking English, he leaned on tutors and mentors to find his footing, studied engineering at Columbia, paused to serve as a sergeant in the South Korean army, and worked as an analyst in JP Morgan's Chief Investment Office before going all in on education. He has raised more than $8 million and serves thousands of students worldwide, with a stated mission to make quality, personalized learning accessible to everyone.
Frederic Dijols
Frederic Dijols is the co-founder and CEO of Mixlab, a veterinary-exclusive pet pharmacy that compounds custom medications and delivers them fast and free to pet parents and the vets who prescribe them. A French-trained engineer with degrees from Ecole Polytechnique, Stanford, and Harvard Business School, he traded a healthcare-banking seat at J.P. Morgan for a pharmacy floor after a miserable experience getting meds for his aging pug, Bob. Since 2017 he has raised roughly $46.5M and built Mixlab into a multi-state operation pairing pharmacist-grade compounding with consumer-grade delight.
Gabriel Stengel
Gabriel Stengel is the co-founder and CEO of Rogo, a generative AI platform built for investment banks, private equity firms and hedge funds. A 2020 Princeton computer science graduate who did stints at J.P. Morgan and whose co-founder came from Lazard, Stengel turned a clunky senior-thesis econometrics chatbot into a company that, by April 2026, raised a $160 million Series D at a roughly $2 billion valuation. Rogo's AI agent Felix now serves more than 35,000 finance professionals across 250-plus institutions, automating the grunt work of benchmarking, earnings analysis and pitch decks that once kept junior bankers awake at night.
Todd Watts
Todd Watts is the co-founder and CEO of PatientFi, an Irvine, California fintech that lets patients pay for elective and out-of-pocket healthcare in monthly installments at the point of care. Since starting the company in 2017, he has built a platform that has helped roughly 320,000 patients qualify for more than $3 billion in care across aesthetics, fertility, dentistry, ophthalmology and audiology, reaching a $140 million annual revenue run rate and 130 employees. A former J.P. Morgan investment banker with a Yale MBA, Watts was named an EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2024 Pacific Southwest winner.
Jeremy Fraenkel
Jeremy Fraenkel is the CEO and co-founder of Fundamental, the AI lab that emerged from stealth in February 2026 as a $1.4 billion unicorn with $255 million in funding. A DeepMind alumnus with a graduate degree in Machine Learning from UC Berkeley, Fraenkel previously cut his teeth at JPMorgan and Bridgewater Associates before founding and exiting two startups.
