Michael Prokopis is the CEO of DARVIS, a Houston-based AI and computer vision company that gives hospitals real-time visibility into their inventory. A former Navy Surface Warfare Officer and Gulf War veteran turned healthcare supply chain executive, he spent 25+ years managing more than $3.2 billion in spend and driving $360M+ in savings at institutions including MD Anderson Cancer Center and Steward Health Care before crossing to the other side of the table to run the technology company he once wanted to buy from.
Luká Yancopoulos
Luká Yancopoulos is the co-founder and CEO of Grapevine Technologies, a software company that acts as an intelligent purchasing agent for healthcare buyers - scanning vendors, prices, and supply routes in real time to cut what hospitals and clinics spend on medical supplies. A University of Pennsylvania VIPER dual-degree graduate in bioengineering and environmental studies, he pivoted from renewable-energy research to pandemic logistics in 2020, founding Pandemic Relief Supply, which delivered roughly $20 million in PPE to frontline workers. Grapevine grew out of that work, won the 2022 President's Innovation Prize, and raised about $2 million in early funding. His aim is blunt: drop the average national medical-supply spend by half, and ultimately make shopping for supplies unnecessary.
Tomorrow Health
Tomorrow Health is a New York-based health technology company that connects providers, payors, and durable medical equipment (DME) suppliers on a single platform so home-based care can be ordered, routed, and paid for without the usual paperwork chaos. Founded by Vijay Kedar and Casper co-founder Gabriel Flateman, it uses intelligent automation - and, increasingly, AI - to turn a process that historically took hours of faxes and phone calls into something closer to a clean digital order, serving more than 100 health plans and managing over $100 million in DME spend.
