Casey Powers
Casey Powers is the CEO of Climb Credit, a New York-based fintech that finances career-focused and vocational education for students of all credit profiles. She rose to the top job in February 2022 after three years as Climb's Chief Operating Officer, bringing more than 15 years of experience across investment banking and mission-driven fintech startups. A vocal advocate for skills-based hiring, Powers has centered her leadership on expanding access to affordable education that improves earning potential for underserved learners and career switchers.
Michael Crumpler
Michael Crumpler is the Chief Executive Officer of Credit Benchmark, a London- and New York-based financial data firm that aggregates anonymized internal credit risk views from more than 40 global banks, including 17 Global Systemically Important Banks, into consensus ratings on over 80,000 entities. He was appointed CEO in June 2023 after seven years at the company, most recently as Chief Operating Officer and Head of Risk, where he oversaw a period of 25% revenue growth. Before Credit Benchmark, he spent roughly two decades in credit risk seats at Goldman Sachs, Barclays, Dexia, and Moody's, focused on energy, infrastructure, and U.S. public finance.
Nicole Van Der Tuin
Nicole Van Der Tuin is the co-founder and CEO of First Access, a New York-based fintech that turns mobile phone records into credit scores for borrowers across Africa, Asia and Latin America. She now also serves as Chief Experience Officer at Accion Opportunity Fund. Fast Company named her one of the 100 Most Creative People in Business in 2016. She holds an MPA from Columbia SIPA and a BA with highest honors from Kenyon College.
