The company raised a $40M Series A in 2025, bringing total funding to $64M, and counts McDonald's, Meta, the Minnesota Twins and NYU among its customers.

Minerva Networks is a San Jose-based software company that builds carrier-grade service management and video delivery platforms for pay-TV and broadband operators. Founded in 1992, its platform lets telcos, cable and satellite providers offer IPTV, OTT and hybrid television - with live TV, VOD, network DVR, catch-up and FAST channels - across set-top boxes, smart TVs, mobile and web. More than 300 operators worldwide run Minerva, and the company now layers AI-driven content discovery through its Minnie AI Companion and its FAST+ streaming service.

Umbo Computer Vision is a San Francisco and Taipei based startup building autonomous video security systems that use deep learning to watch camera feeds the way a human guard would - flagging intrusions, tailgating and wall-scaling in real time while ignoring birds, cats and weather. Founded in 2014 by Shawn Guan, Ping-Lin Chang and Tingfan Wu, the company pairs its SmartDome camera hardware with a neural-net engine called Light and a cloud platform, and has raised roughly $17.6M to sell mostly through security integrators to businesses, schools and public-safety customers.

Mux is the video API for developers. The San Francisco company gives engineers a simple set of endpoints for live streaming, on-demand video, encoding, playback, and quality-of-experience analytics, so they can ship video features without rebuilding the streaming stack from scratch.
