Edunation LTD
Edunation LTD is a Jordan-founded education technology company behind EdunationOS, a cloud-based platform that consolidates a school's academic, administrative, financial and wellbeing systems into one connected ecosystem. Built for K-12 and higher-education institutions across the Middle East, it supports multiple campuses, multiple curricula and 24 languages, blending physical and virtual learning. Founded in 2013 by Firas Jabbour and Mahmud Gabareen, the company raised a $3 million round in 2021 and serves schools across Jordan, Palestine, the Gulf and beyond.
Zenius
Zenius was Indonesia's pioneering education-technology company, founded in 2004 as a Jakarta tutoring center and reborn in 2010 as one of the country's first video-based learning platforms. Built around founder Sabda PS's belief that education should teach fundamental skills and critical thinking rather than rote memorization, Zenius grew into a digital learning ecosystem with a library of more than 100,000 video lessons, a large UTBK question bank, AI-powered tools like ZenCore and ZenBot, and live classes. After acquiring legacy tutoring brand Primagama in 2022 to push into hybrid learning, the company struggled with the post-pandemic funding downturn and suspended operations in January 2024 after roughly 20 years.
Classera
Classera is an edtech company that runs a cloud-based Learning Super Platform used across K-12 schools, universities, and corporate and government training programs. Founded in 2011 and headquartered in San Francisco with deep roots in the MENA region, it pairs a core learning management system with gamification, AI-driven personalization, virtual-reality content, an educational marketplace (Edumalls), and embedded payments (C-Pay). The platform serves more than 12 million users in over 40 countries and, in October 2022, raised a $40M Series A led by Sanabil Investments - reportedly the largest edtech funding round in MENA and most of Africa.
Everest Education
Everest Education (E2) is a Ho Chi Minh City-based edtech company founded in 2011 that prepares Vietnamese students from Grade 1 to Grade 12 for international academic environments. Combining its own classroom-management software with in-person learning centers, it offers Math and English enrichment, test preparation, private tutoring, and college-admissions consulting through a blended-learning model. The company has recorded more than 12,000 enrollments and raised roughly $5.4M, including a $4M Series B led by Hendale Capital.
Don Le
Don Le is the co-founder and CEO of Everest Education (E2), a Ho Chi Minh City-based edtech company that brings blended Math and English enrichment, test prep, and college admissions help to students from Grade 1 to 12. A Stanford economics graduate who started out at Bain & Company and Red Mountain Capital, he moved to Vietnam in 2007 and helped build finance, technology, and consumer businesses, including Highlands Coffee and Pho 24 operator Viet Thai International, before turning to education. Everest has raised about $5.4M, capped by a $4M Series B in 2019, and in 2022 launched a joint venture with Spark Education to localize world-class online learning for Vietnam.
Ahsan Rizvi
Ahsan Rizvi is the CEO and co-founder of Kiddom, a San Francisco-based education technology platform that has become the first all-in-one solution for high-quality digital curricula in K-12 schools. Born and raised in Pakistan, he came to the US after passing a grueling 1-in-1,100 entrance exam at age 12, an experience that shaped his lifelong commitment to the transformative power of education. After earning degrees in Industrial Engineering and Public Policy from the University of Illinois, he co-founded Kiddom in 2015 with his college friend Abbas Manjee. The company has raised $56.5M in total funding, grown to 220 employees, and now has at least one teacher using its platform in 70% of US schools.
