The €1.5 Billion Company Hiding Inside Your Dessert Case
IRCA Group does not sell the cake. It sells the confidence that the cake will rise, shine and taste the same on the thousandth batch - a century-old Italian formula now scaled across 19 factories and more than 7,000 products.
The Little Orange Tray That Turned Sweet Bread Into a National Ritual
King's Hawaiian did not win the bread aisle by behaving like ordinary bread. It turned a soft, sweet roll into a social object - one orange tray built for passing, pulling apart and showing up wherever people gather.
Incredo
Incredo (formerly DouxMatok) is a foodtech company that makes real cane and beet sugar taste sweeter, letting food manufacturers cut sugar by 30-50% without artificial sweeteners, sugar alcohols or a change in taste, mouthfeel or texture. Its patented Incredo Sugar binds sugar to a natural carrier so it dissolves and reaches taste receptors more efficiently, and because it is still sugar it can be labeled cleanly. Founded in Israel in 2014 and rebranded to Incredo in 2023 alongside a $30M Series C, the company works B2B with confectionery, bakery and spread makers to reformulate everyday sweet products.
