Jimini Health is a New York-based behavioral health technology company building clinician-supervised AI for mental health care. Its platform, Sage, is an AI behavioral health assistant that supports patients before, during, and between therapy sessions while keeping licensed clinicians in oversight of every interaction. Founded in 2023 by AI and biotech veterans Luis Voloch, Mark Jacobstein, and Sahil Sud, the company pairs evidence-based practices like CBT with measurement-based care to improve both the effectiveness of and access to therapy. Jimini has raised more than $25M, including a $17M seed round in 2026.
Luis Voloch
Luis Voloch is the co-founder and CEO of Jimini Health, a New York mental health startup that pairs licensed therapists with a clinically supervised AI assistant called Sage. An MIT-trained mathematician and computer scientist who won the school's best-thesis prize, he previously co-founded and served as CTO of Immunai, the AI cancer-immunotherapy company that grew into a billion-dollar unicorn. He has taught entrepreneurship at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and is building toward what he calls a 'Genentech-like company in mental health, powered by AI.'
