Founded by Ali Khokhar and John Xing, Amigo integrates with major EHRs (Epic, Oracle Health, Athenahealth), operates in 100+ languages, and reports more than three million patient encounters with zero safety incidents. It raised an $11M Series A in March 2026 led by Madrona, bringing total funding to $17M.
RV Healthcare Solutions
RV Healthcare Solutions (RVH Solutions), which operates the Teamwrks technology suite, is a New York-based healthcare technology company that uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to help hospitals and health systems improve financial and quality performance without reducing staff. Grown out of Workforce Prescriptions and backed by Rizk Ventures and Vizient, Teamwrks turns operational data into department-level targets, AI-driven root-cause insights and actionable workflows - typically deployed in days rather than months.
Jason Palmer
Jason Palmer is the chief executive officer of RV Healthcare Solutions, the New York-based healthcare technology company behind the Teamwrks platform, which uses AI and machine learning to help hospitals improve financial and quality performance without cutting staff. He is also Managing Partner for Healthcare and Technology at Rizk Ventures. A UCLA-trained lawyer turned operator, Palmer has spent roughly two decades founding and running companies across healthcare, software, technology, and education, and in 2021 led RVH Solutions to a Series B round from Vizient, the largest member-driven healthcare performance improvement company in the United States.

Amber Nigam is the co-founder and CEO of basys.ai, a Harvard-born healthcare AI company teaching software to navigate one of medicine's most despised rituals: prior authorization. Trained on more than 10 million patient records and claims, basys.ai's engine encodes payer policy and automates up to 90% of authorization requests, aiming to give clinicians their time back and patients faster answers. A Harvard Health Data Science graduate, three-time patent inventor, and published researcher at venues like NeurIPS and ACL, Nigam came to Boston from Bareilly, India, after first building an ed-tech startup, kydots.ai. He has spoken at TEDx, Mayo Clinic, Harvard, and MIT, and has been named to multiple 40 Under 40 lists.

Personal AI (legally Human AI Labs, Inc.) builds an identity-based memory layer and Personal Language Models (PLMs) - compact, individually trained AI models that capture a person's or organization's knowledge, voice, and decision-making. Instead of a single generic chatbot, the platform lets people and enterprises create AI personas trained on their own data, keeping ownership and privacy with the user. Founded in 2020 and based in San Francisco, the company positions its smaller, memory-grounded models as a more accurate, lower-cost, privacy-first alternative to centralized cloud LLMs for sales, healthcare, legal, HR and knowledge work.
BeyondAI
BeyondAI (formerly Beyond Limits) is an industrial and enterprise AI company born from technology developed at Caltech's NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Founded in 2014, it builds hybrid, neuro-symbolic AI that pairs machine learning and generative AI with rule-based reasoning to deliver explainable, human-like decisions in high-stakes sectors such as energy, oil and gas, manufacturing, utilities and healthcare. Backed by investors including Group 42 and bp ventures, the company raised a $133M Series C in 2020 and rebranded to BeyondAI at LNG2026.
David Sontag
David Sontag is the co-founder and CEO of Layer Health, a Boston-area startup building an AI layer that reads and abstracts messy medical charts at clinician-level accuracy. He is also a professor at MIT in EECS and IMES, a principal investigator at CSAIL, and a leader in machine learning for healthcare with more than 20,000 citations across roughly 140 publications. After a decade of academic research turning raw clinical data into predictions, he took partial leave in 2025 to scale Layer Health, which raised a $21M Series A led by Define Ventures.
