Jason Palmer
Jason Palmer is the chief executive officer of RV Healthcare Solutions, the New York-based healthcare technology company behind the Teamwrks platform, which uses AI and machine learning to help hospitals improve financial and quality performance without cutting staff. He is also Managing Partner for Healthcare and Technology at Rizk Ventures. A UCLA-trained lawyer turned operator, Palmer has spent roughly two decades founding and running companies across healthcare, software, technology, and education, and in 2021 led RVH Solutions to a Series B round from Vizient, the largest member-driven healthcare performance improvement company in the United States.
Amber Nigam
Amber Nigam is the co-founder and CEO of basys.ai, a Harvard-born healthcare AI company teaching software to navigate one of medicine's most despised rituals: prior authorization. Trained on more than 10 million patient records and claims, basys.ai's engine encodes payer policy and automates up to 90% of authorization requests, aiming to give clinicians their time back and patients faster answers. A Harvard Health Data Science graduate, three-time patent inventor, and published researcher at venues like NeurIPS and ACL, Nigam came to Boston from Bareilly, India, after first building an ed-tech startup, kydots.ai. He has spoken at TEDx, Mayo Clinic, Harvard, and MIT, and has been named to multiple 40 Under 40 lists.
David Sontag
David Sontag is the co-founder and CEO of Layer Health, a Boston-area startup building an AI layer that reads and abstracts messy medical charts at clinician-level accuracy. He is also a professor at MIT in EECS and IMES, a principal investigator at CSAIL, and a leader in machine learning for healthcare with more than 20,000 citations across roughly 140 publications. After a decade of academic research turning raw clinical data into predictions, he took partial leave in 2025 to scale Layer Health, which raised a $21M Series A led by Define Ventures.
