Tuan Cao
Tuan Cao is the co-founder and CEO of Genetica and LIFE AI, biotech companies building AI-driven precision health for Asian populations. A Cornell-trained computer scientist who once redesigned Google's Ads reporting engine, he left a comfortable Silicon Valley career to decode genomes built for the nearly one billion people of East Asian descent that Western genetic tools serve poorly. His current venture, LIFE AI, is a Singapore-based foundational AI platform he calls the Intelligence Layer of Human Health, securing 15+ petabytes of genomic data on-chain and aiming to let people own and benefit from their own genetic data.
Meijie Wang
Meijie Wang is the co-founder and CEO of MetaNovas, an AI-driven biotech that designs functional peptides for skincare, supplements and drug discovery. A former NVIDIA AI infrastructure engineer who built VR games and worked on AI at Stanford's School of Medicine, he now runs a Silicon Valley and Shanghai operation whose knowledge-graph platform aims to compress the decade-long hunt for new bioactive ingredients into something far shorter. MetaNovas counts L'Oreal, Beiersdorf, Haleon, Takeda and Unilever among its partners and raised a Series A led by GL Ventures.
Shafique Virani
Shafique Virani is a neurosurgeon-turned-biotech dealmaker who serves as Chief Business Officer of Noetik, an AI-native cancer therapeutics company in South San Francisco. He has spent two decades turning early-stage science into landmark partnerships, including one of the largest drug discovery deals ever struck at Recursion, and earlier built a neuroscience and rare-disease portfolio at Roche/Genentech that produced approved medicines like Risdiplam and Enspryng. At Noetik he is selling a new idea to pharma: not AI services, but licensable AI infrastructure for biology.
