Ask Tikue Anazodo what Kudos is and he reaches for a phrase that has become his north star: the self-driving wallet. Not an app you check. A system that already knows which of your cards earns the most at this merchant, on this purchase, in this second - and quietly picks it for you. The customer does nothing differently. The money just shows up.
Today that idea has weight behind it. More than 200,000 people route purchases through Kudos. Annualized checkout volume has crossed $200 million. The company has raised $17.2 million from QED Investors, Patron, SV Angel, Samsung Next, and a roster that includes Max Levchin and Brian Kelly, the founder of The Points Guy. In 2025 it landed on the Forbes Fintech 50.
But the most telling detail is smaller. Kudos shipped its first product, a browser extension that flagged the best card at checkout, roughly two months after Anazodo and co-founder Ahmad Ismail started building. Speed is the through-line of his whole story. He keeps shipping before the world is ready to ask for it.
