The Accountant Who Never Closes the Spreadsheet
Truewind wants AI to prepare the untidy work behind a monthly close: the statements, schedules and reconciliations that still live in stray files. The accountant keeps the final say.
Punchcard
Punchcard (formerly Agentive) is a Provo, Utah startup building an AI-powered operating system for financial audits and assurance work. Its platform uses assertion-driven AI agents that read documents, run testing procedures from natural language instructions, and draft cited workpapers - collapsing audit planning, client document requests, evidence testing, and documentation into one workspace so CPA firms can move through substantive testing far faster.
Soraban
Soraban is an AI-native tax workflow platform for accounting firms, automating the unbillable admin work of tax season - client intake, document collection, workpaper preparation, data entry into tax software, and final delivery. Founded in 2021 by engineer and former accounting-firm owner Enoch Ko and part of Y Combinator's Winter 2021 batch, the company is used by hundreds of CPA firms across the U.S. and Canada and closed a Series A led by Altos Ventures in August 2025.
