Alan Descoins is the CEO of Tryolabs, a Montevideo-born AI consultancy that grew from four people in 2009 into a 100+ person firm building custom machine-learning systems for clients like Nvidia, Hyundai and Ulta Beauty. A self-taught coder since age 12 and a Computer Engineering graduate of Universidad de la Republica, he was named to TIME's 100 Most Influential People in AI in 2025.

Samuel Rodriques is a physicist-turned-bioengineer and co-founder and CEO of Edison Scientific, the AI-driven scientific discovery company behind Kosmos - an AI scientist that reportedly condenses six months of PhD-level research into a single day.
