Hanindia Narendrata and the value of a better question
He helped build Telunjuk to make shopping decisions easier. With Compas, Hanindia Narendrata turned that same problem around: helping businesses understand the shoppers on the other side of the screen.
Telunjuk.com (PT Telunjuk Komputasi Indonesia)
Telunjuk.com, operated by PT Telunjuk Komputasi Indonesia, began in 2012 as Indonesia's shopping search and price-comparison service, aggregating products and promotions from more than 50 e-commerce platforms to help consumers find the best deals. The team turned the data infrastructure behind that consumer product - tens of millions of listings and terabytes of e-commerce data - into Compas.co.id, a B2B market-intelligence and e-commerce enabler platform that helps FMCG brands track online sales, market share, pricing and competitors in real time. Founded by ITB engineering graduates Redya Febriyanto and Hanindia Narendrata, the company raised a Series A from Lippo Digital Ventures in 2015 and was majority-acquired by a subsidiary of PT Diamond Food Indonesia in 2022.
