Cspeed is a Palo Alto optical semiconductor startup building silicon photonics and high-density III-V laser array technology to replace copper interconnects inside large-scale AI clusters. Founded in 2022 and led by serial semiconductor entrepreneur Sanjai Kohli, the company targets the data-movement bottlenecks that limit 'scale-up' AI infrastructure, aiming to deliver fiber-optic connectivity dense and cheap enough for high-volume datacenter deployment.

Ridge Biotechnologies is a Bay Area startup using AI-driven enzyme and targeted drug design to build the next generation of precision medicines. Its platform pairs proprietary machine learning models with high-throughput, cell-free wet-lab experimentation to design enzymes and delivery systems for applications spanning antibody-drug conjugates, in vivo CAR-T, targeted nucleic acid delivery, biocatalysis and radiotherapies. The company emerged from stealth in September 2025 with an oversubscribed $25 million seed round led by Sutter Hill Ventures.
Divanny Lamas
Divanny Lamas is a Harvard-educated Latina technologist who co-founded and led Transposit as CEO, building a DevOps process orchestration platform that raised $50.4M and famously staffed 50% female engineers. Before Transposit, she spent seven years scaling Splunk's billion-dollar sales operation across product management, customer success, and sales engineering. She is also a managing director at Sutter Hill Ventures and an advisor at cray.vc, bringing operator instincts to early-stage enterprise bets in Palo Alto.
