Tolu Alabi
Tolu Alabi is the co-founder and CEO of Cleva (YC W24), a USD banking platform that lets freelancers and businesses across Africa get paid in dollars and shield their earnings from local currency swings. Born and raised in Nigeria, she played competitive basketball before earning degrees at Grinnell College and Stanford GSB and building products at Stripe and Amazon. She also runs Next in Line Africa, a basketball nonprofit that teaches life skills to young athletes.
Sohel Roopani
Sohel Roopani is the co-founder and CEO of Exponent, a New York fintech building a financial operating system for America's multi-unit franchise operators. A former Visa and Stripe executive with an MBA from Columbia Business School, he raised more than $40 million in combined equity and credit to underwrite the operators behind Burger King, Dunkin', Buffalo Wild Wings and roughly 10,000 other franchised storefronts, replacing spreadsheets and month-end closes with charge cards, term loans and AI-powered bookkeeping.
Sam Gerstenzang
Sam Gerstenzang is the co-founder and CEO of Meadow Memorials, a software-enabled funeral and cremation company he started in 2024 after arranging his grandfather's funeral and finding the experience opaque, overwhelming and impersonal. Meadow runs funerals at chapels, beaches, theaters and restaurants instead of traditional funeral homes, with transparent pricing and what Sam calls 'unreasonable hospitality.' Before Meadow he led consumer payments product at Stripe, invested at Andreessen Horowitz, incubated companies at Sidewalk Labs, was early at Imgur, and co-founded Umbrella (acquired by IAC/Angi) and the medspa platform Moxie. In March 2026 Meadow raised a $9M Series A led by Lachy Groom and Haystack.
