SEAD Software LLC is an Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey company that builds enterprise applications on Co-Wright, its proprietary low-code/no-code development platform. Combining full-stack development teams with drag-and-drop tooling, SEAD helps mid-sized businesses across finance, manufacturing, healthcare, supply chain, real estate and non-profits consolidate scattered data into a 'single portal of truth,' automate operations, and stand up custom, white-labeled applications at a fraction of the time and cost of traditional development.
Firebolt
Firebolt is a cloud data warehouse company building a low-latency, high-concurrency analytical database for engineers building data-intensive and AI applications. Founded in 2019 by former Sisense leaders, it decouples storage and compute to deliver sub-second SQL queries over terabyte- and petabyte-scale datasets, positioning itself on price-performance against Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery and ClickHouse. Firebolt has raised roughly $269 million and reached a $1.4 billion valuation as a unicorn.

Portable is a New York-based ELT platform that builds data connectors on-demand, specializing in the long tail of niche business applications that larger integration vendors ignore. Founded in 2020 by Ethan Aaron, it lets data teams pull data from thousands of sources into warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, and PostgreSQL with no code, flat predictable pricing regardless of data volume, and hands-on custom connector development delivered in hours or days.
Shuttle
Shuttle is a Rust-native cloud platform that lets developers ship backends without writing infrastructure files. You annotate what you need in code - a database, secrets, a web server - and Shuttle provisions it and deploys to the cloud. Founded in 2019 and shaped by Y Combinator's Summer 2020 batch, the company is now repositioning as an 'AI platform engineer' that handles the deployment step where AI coding tools like Cursor, Copilot and Lovable leave off. It has drawn more than 20,000 developers and over 120,000 deployments, and raised a $6M seed round in October 2025.

Artie is a San Francisco-based, fully managed real-time data streaming platform that uses change data capture (CDC) and log-based replication to move production data across databases, warehouses, search systems, and vector stores with sub-minute latency and zero pipeline maintenance. Founded in 2023 by Jacqueline Cheong and Robin Tang and backed by Y Combinator, Artie pitches streaming-first data movement as the default for AI-era systems, replacing brittle batch ETL and self-managed Kafka.
Tiger Data (creators of TimescaleDB)
Tiger Data - formerly Timescale - is the New York-based company behind TimescaleDB, an open-source PostgreSQL extension that began as a time-series workhorse and has grown into a full operational database platform for transactional, analytical, and agentic workloads. In June 2025 the company rebranded around its long-time tiger mascot and now ships Tiger Cloud, Tiger Postgres, and Agentic Postgres - a Postgres flavor purpose-built for AI agents with zero-copy forks, hybrid storage, BM25 and vector search, and an MCP server.
