Founded in 2021 by Hims & Hers co-founder Joe Spector, Dutch runs a membership model starting around $15/month, operates in all 50 states, and has logged more than 700,000 virtual visits while building an AI-first veterinary EMR and its own prescription and pharmacy infrastructure.
Frederic Dijols
Frederic Dijols is the co-founder and CEO of Mixlab, a veterinary-exclusive pet pharmacy that compounds custom medications and delivers them fast and free to pet parents and the vets who prescribe them. A French-trained engineer with degrees from Ecole Polytechnique, Stanford, and Harvard Business School, he traded a healthcare-banking seat at J.P. Morgan for a pharmacy floor after a miserable experience getting meds for his aging pug, Bob. Since 2017 he has raised roughly $46.5M and built Mixlab into a multi-state operation pairing pharmacist-grade compounding with consumer-grade delight.

Koala Health is a Boston-based digital pet pharmacy built by alumni of PillPack (acquired by Amazon). It packages and delivers chronic pet medications organized by date and time, connecting pet parents directly with their veterinarians through a mobile-first experience. The platform reaches 80+ million pet owners across all 50 states and integrates with more than 25,000 independent veterinary clinics.
Gavin Cotter
Gavin Cotter is the founder and CEO of Koala Health, a Boston-based digital pet pharmacy that delivers chronic pet medications through a mobile-first platform built to work directly with pet parents and their veterinarians. An MIT-trained mechanical engineer turned operations leader, he cut his teeth scaling PillPack's pharmacy operations before Amazon acquired it, then reassembled a core PillPack crew in 2021 to do for animals what PillPack did for people: make managing medications boring, easy, and reliable. Koala has since expanded to all 50 states and raised a $20M Series B led by Valspring Capital in 2025.
