Yusuf Sherwani
Yusuf Sherwani is a London-born, New York-based medical doctor turned founder who runs Pelago (formerly Quit Genius), the digital clinic he co-founded in 2017 with two medical school classmates, Maroof Ahmed and Sarim Siddiqui. A Y Combinator alumnus and Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, he has raised more than $150 million from investors including Atomico, Kinnevik and Octopus Ventures to scale technology-driven, evidence-based care. Trained at Imperial College London with an MD and a BSc in management, he co-authored roughly a dozen peer-reviewed studies before pivoting fully into building. He is also an active angel investor backing early-stage founders and writes about healthcare, technology and finance on his personal blog.
Vishal Punwani
Vishal Punwani is the CEO and co-founder of SoWork, a generative-AI virtual workplace platform born at Harvard's Innovation Labs. A medical doctor turned founder, he traded clinical medicine and a stint at the World Health Organization for the question of how distributed teams keep a culture alive when nobody shares a hallway. He and his two co-founders, who first met playing World of Warcraft as teenagers, set out to borrow what video games solved decades ago - presence, spontaneity, belonging - and bring it to remote work. In October 2021 the company raised a $15M seed round led by Talis Capital, counting Tinder among its early customers.
Joshua Reischer
Joshua Reischer is a board-certified internal medicine physician who walked out of the exam room to rebuild the most tedious part of a doctor's day. As CEO and founder of Health Note, he turned the pre-visit patient questionnaire into AI-generated clinical notes that drop straight into the chart, cutting documentation and intake time before the appointment even starts. Health Note now runs across clinics nationwide, processes millions of patient visits a year, and raised a $17M Series A led by SignalFire with backing from Cedars-Sinai, Northwell and UnityPoint Health.
David Craig
David Craig, MD is the CEO of Spruce Health, a San Francisco-based HIPAA-compliant healthcare communication platform serving 25,000+ healthcare providers. A Stanford-trained emergency medicine physician who began coding in his teens, Craig brings rare dual fluency in medicine and software engineering. He joined Spruce in 2014 as Chief Medical Officer before taking the CEO role in late 2021, and still works weekly ER shifts to keep his clinical perspective sharp while leading a team building the communication infrastructure for modern healthcare.
