CloudLex - The Legal Cloud
CloudLex is a New York-based legal technology company that builds cloud-native case management software purpose-built for plaintiff personal injury law firms. Its platform runs a PI practice end to end - from client intake and matter management through medical records retrieval, client communication, e-signatures, and settlement - and layers in Lexee AI for demand drafting, medical summaries, and 24/7 client assistance, plus human-powered paralegal services. Founded in 2015 by Dev and Sudhir Shrotri, the company positions itself as a single ecosystem for personal injury firms rather than a generic legal tool.
Dev Shrotri
Dev Shrotri is the founder and CEO of CloudLex, a New York based cloud platform built exclusively for plaintiff personal injury law firms. An engineer by training with an MBA from Columbia Business School, he spent years running legal support services before building CloudLex in 2015 to replace the antiquated legacy systems and one-size-fits-all tools that trial lawyers had been stuck with. The company has grown to roughly 110 employees, raised about $7.7 million, and in 2025 launched Lexee, an AI assistant designed specifically for personal injury practice.
