Shiva Nathan
Shiva Nathan is the founder and CEO of Onymos, a Palo Alto software company he started in 2017 to end the endless rebuilding of the same app plumbing. A former head of Intuit's Platform and Services organization who also held engineering leadership roles at Oracle and CA, he built Onymos around a 'Features-as-a-Service' model that lets companies drop in login, payments, notifications and other features without handing over their data. Onymos has since expanded into AI-driven document processing for healthcare and life sciences through its DocKnow platform, including a collaboration with Mayo Clinic.
Jason Auh
Jason Auh is Head of Sales and Customer Success at Sensible, the San Francisco developer platform that turns messy documents into structured, schema-validated data through its SenseML configuration language. A Dartmouth graduate who came up through enterprise sales at NetBase Quid, Jason sits at the seam between the engineering that builds Sensible and the customers who bet their workflows on it - and he writes candidly about where document AI actually breaks in production, not just in the demo.
Steve Johnson
Steve Johnson is the co-founder and CEO of Notable Systems, a Denver-based company using AI, machine learning, and human-in-the-loop review to turn messy healthcare paperwork into clean, usable data. Three decades before that, he co-founded Johnson-Grace, whose patented compression algorithm delivered the first online pictures on America Online in 1993 - a building block of modern streaming media. AOL acquired the company in 1996 and made him a VP running software and technology development; he later founded the personalization pioneer ChoiceStream. In 2025 Notable Systems raised a $12M Series B to push beyond order intake into full revenue cycle automation.
Anant Bhardwaj
Anant Bhardwaj is the founder and CEO of Instabase, a San Francisco-based AI platform that helps enterprises extract intelligence from unstructured data - PDFs, images, emails, and documents of every kind. He dropped out of a PhD at MIT in 2015 to build what has become a $1.24 billion company with $277M in total funding, serving clients like NatWest, AXA, Uber, and four of the five largest U.S. banks. Jonathan Grandperrin
Jonathan Grandperrin is the co-founder and CEO of Mindee, a Y Combinator-backed (W21) API-first platform that automates document understanding using computer vision and machine learning. A graduate of École Polytechnique and UC Berkeley, he previously served as CTO at ECTOR and TankYou before founding Mindee in 2018.
