Stellaromics is a Boston-based spatial biology company building tools that map gene expression in three dimensions inside intact tissue. Spun out of the labs of Karl Deisseroth (Stanford) and Xiao Wang (MIT/Broad Institute), the company commercializes its Pyxa platform, which uses proprietary STARmap and RIBOmap chemistry to deliver multiplexed 3D spatial transcriptomics and translatomics in tissue sections up to 100 microns thick at subcellular resolution. ACTIVZ is a West Jordan, Utah-based health and wellness company that bills itself as the first direct-selling brand built around epigenetics - the idea that lifestyle and nutrition can influence how genes express themselves. Founded in 2017 by David Brown and Ryan Thompson, the company sells supplements (LINQ, AIRO, Optimend) and an anti-aging skincare line through a distributor network paired with an omnichannel e-commerce model. GeneCentric Therapeutics
GeneCentric Therapeutics is a Durham, North Carolina precision-oncology company that reads cancer's gene activity, not just its mutations, from a tube of blood. Its proprietary EXpressCT technology infers RNA-based gene expression signatures from cell-free DNA fragmentomics, and its GenomicsNext platform combines that expression read-out with DNA variant detection in a single liquid biopsy.
