Dazzle AI
Dazzle AI is a Palo Alto consumer-AI startup founded by former Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer that aims to close the gap between what people want to do and what they can actually do with AI. Emerging from the assets of Mayer's earlier venture Sunshine, Dazzle is building a consumer-facing AI application - described as a next-generation personal assistant - and raised $8 million in seed funding in December 2025 at a $35 million post-money valuation, led by Forerunner's Kirsten Green.
Homeroom
Homeroom is a San Francisco software company that runs the back office for school auxiliary programs - after-school enrichment classes, extended care, summer camps, leagues and tutoring. Founded by Stanford classmates Casandra Espinoza Stewart and Christina Walker, it started as a three-sided marketplace connecting parents, schools and class vendors, then grew into an all-in-one platform handling registration, rosters, attendance check-in/out, contractor payments, compliance and financial reporting. It raised $3.5M in seed funding led by Forerunner Ventures in 2019 to chase a roughly $23 billion U.S. after-school market where more than 40% of children are not enrolled in any program.
Stress-Free Auto Care
Stress-Free Auto Care is a tech-enabled chain of automotive repair shops modernizing a $200B+ legacy industry. Founded in 2016 and based in Mountain View, California, it operates 30+ ASE-certified shops across California and Texas, pairing proprietary software with neighborhood mechanics to offer transparent pricing, digital vehicle inspections, text updates, and live video feeds of repair bays.
