Its DIY laboratory information system connects lab machines, patient records, billing, and results into one platform, and it rose to prominence powering the Philippine Red Cross through millions of COVID-19 RT-PCR tests. Today it serves diagnostic labs, hospitals, dialysis centers, veterinary clinics, and corporate health programs across the Philippines.
Braid Health
Braid Health is a San Francisco health-tech company building an FDA-cleared, AI-powered diagnostic collaboration platform for medical imaging. Founded in 2018 by Apple and Twitter alumni Kevin Quennesson and Alessandro Sabatelli, Braid pairs AI imaging copilots with board-certified radiologists to deliver faster, lower-cost reads of MRI, CT, ultrasound and X-ray studies. It serves urgent care networks, health systems and retail clinics, and in 2026 launched a direct-to-patient second-opinion service that offers expert radiologist re-reads for $199.
EchoPixel, Inc.
EchoPixel is a Silicon Valley medical visualization company that turns ordinary CT, MRI and ultrasound scans into life-size, interactive 4D holograms of a patient's own anatomy. Its FDA-cleared True3D platform and Holographic Therapy Guidance (HTG) let surgeons and interventional cardiologists reach in and manipulate a digital twin of a heart or organ - no headset or glasses required - to plan and guide complex, minimally invasive procedures.
Alara Imaging
Alara Imaging is a San Francisco healthcare technology company building a private compute platform for radiology. Its flagship product, the Alara Medical Imaging Gateway, is edge-orchestration software that sits inside a hospital and moves imaging data securely and bidirectionally between facilities and the cloud. Founded out of UCSF research, Alara serves as a CMS measure steward, giving health systems a HITRUST-certified, HIPAA- and SOC 2-compliant way to calculate and report new radiology quality measures - including a CMS-endorsed measure to standardize CT radiation doses and reduce avoidable cancer risk.

Founded by Julián Ríos Cantú, who first became known as the teenager behind the EVA breast-cancer-detecting bra, Eden processes millions of medical images a day and has raised roughly $44M total, including a $10M round led by Sierra Ventures and a Series A in October 2025.
