imgix is a San Francisco-based visual media platform that optimizes, transforms, and delivers images and video in real time through a simple URL-based API. Founded in 2011 by former YouTube web developer Chris Zacharias, imgix lets developers resize, crop, compress, convert formats, and now apply AI edits such as background removal and generative fill simply by appending parameters to an image URL, offloading image infrastructure to a globally distributed CDN. The company serves tens of thousands of customers, including Unsplash, Kickstarter, Eventbrite, and Porsche, and delivers on the order of billions of image requests a day.

Contentful is an API-first, cloud-native content platform - the company that popularized the 'headless CMS.' Founded in Berlin in 2013, it separates content from presentation so teams can store structured content once and deliver it anywhere: websites, mobile apps, kiosks, smart watches, or AI agents. It serves more than 4,800 brands, including roughly 30% of the Fortune 500, and in June 2026 entered an agreement to be acquired by Salesforce to power the content layer behind Agentforce.

Lawrence 'Larry' Kaplan is the President and CEO of SDVI Corporation, the Emmy Award-winning cloud-native media supply chain platform company he co-founded in 2013. A broadcast industry veteran with over 40 years of experience, Kaplan previously founded Omneon Video Networks — the dominant provider of broadcast video servers — which was acquired by Harmonic Inc. for $307 million in 2010. Before that, he spent 18 years at Tektronix and led Sony's broadcast division. At SDVI, Kaplan has built the flagship Rally platform, which powers the media supply chains of Fox, Sky, Warner Bros. Discovery, A+E Networks, Comcast, and other leading media organizations worldwide.
