FoodCourt (legally CoKitchen) is a Lagos-based cloud-kitchen company that owns and operates a portfolio of virtual restaurant brands, cooks the food itself, and delivers through its own app. By ditching the aggregator model that simply connects restaurants to eaters, FoodCourt controls the menu, the kitchen, and the logistics end-to-end, letting it sell quality meals at scale across Lagos and Abuja. Backed by Y Combinator (S22), it reached profitability in 2024 and has delivered millions of meals.

Grubtech is a Dubai-based restaurant technology company that builds a unified operating system for food and beverage and quick-commerce businesses. Yo-Kai Express is a California-based food-tech company that builds autonomous restaurant kiosks - vending-machine-sized robot kitchens that cook fresh, chef-quality ramen and other hot meals in about 60-90 seconds, 24 hours a day. Founded in 2016 by former semiconductor engineer Andy Lin, the company applies chip-manufacturing precision to food, flash-freezing partially cooked ingredients and rapid-heating them on demand. Its machines operate in airports, hospitals, universities, offices, and transit hubs across North America, Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea.
