Nicolai Baldin
Nicolai Baldin is the co-founder and CEO of Synthesized, a London and New York-based DataOps and AI-powered test data automation platform he launched after a PhD in machine learning and statistics at the University of Cambridge. Synthesized generates synthetic, compliant, production-like data that enterprises use to test software, train models, and share information across regulatory boundaries. In September 2025 the company raised a $20M Series A led by Redalpine to expand into automated software testing for the age of 'vibe coding.'
Ben Woodington
Ben Woodington is the co-founder and CEO of Coherence Neuro, a deep-tech company building SOMA-1, a button-sized, MRI-safe brain-computer interface that listens to and electrically modulates brain tumors from the inside. A Cambridge-trained chemist-turned-engineer who once built smart inhalers and minimally invasive spinal-cord interfaces, Woodington pivoted his neurotechnology to oncology after realizing almost no one was applying neural-interface engineering to cancer. He argues electricity should become the fourth pillar of cancer therapy alongside surgery, drugs, and radiation, and raised a $10M seed in late 2025 to take the work toward first human trials.
Clayton Rabideau
Clayton Rabideau is the founder and CEO of Syntensor, a San Francisco startup building foundation models and mechanistic simulations of human cell biology to predict drug efficacy, toxicity, and the hidden causes of clinical-trial failure. A Cambridge PhD in chemical engineering and biotechnology, he works at the seam between dynamical-systems mathematics and genomics - a co-author on HyenaDNA, the NeurIPS 2023 spotlight that stretched genomic language models to a million bases of context. He is trying to make biology as fast, iterative, and programmable as software.
Tadas Jucikas
Tadas Jucikas is the founder and CEO of Genus AI, a generative AI platform that produces tens of millions of product images, videos, audiences and ad copy each month for direct-to-consumer and e-commerce brands. He holds a PhD in computational neuroscience from the University of Cambridge, where he decoded the behavior of microscopic worms and published in Nature Methods and PNAS, then spent years applying AI to human behavior for UK government departments and companies like Uber, EDF Energy and Tesco. He co-founded Genus AI with his brother Viktoras, raised $11M in seed capital, and also serves as founding dean at Turing College.
Paul Sargeant
Paul Sargeant is the President and CEO of Circular Genomics, a San Diego biotech building blood tests around circular RNA - the loop-shaped, unusually stable molecules most of the field once ignored. A Cambridge-trained physiologist with 25 years across Fortune 100 firms and venture-backed startups in the US, Europe and Asia, he took the helm in 2023, shepherded the launch of the MindLight test predicting which depression patients will respond to SSRIs, moved headquarters into Lilly Gateway Labs, and closed a $15M Series A in December 2025 to push the same platform toward early Alzheimer's detection.
