Podium Automation
Podium Automation is a Brooklyn-based manufacturer rebuilding how industrial control panels are designed and built. Using a software-enabled configuration and fabrication process, Podium designs, wires, tests, and ships UL 508A and UL 698A control panels in under four weeks - roughly a third of the industry-standard lead time - with real-time transparency from purchase order to delivery. Founded in 2024 by Jamie Niu Serota (CEO) and Jacob Buser (CTO), the company aims to become the 'Protolabs of control panels,' serving customers from hardware scale-ups to Fortune 500 manufacturers.
Jamie Serota
Jamie Serota (Jamie Niu Serota) is the co-founder and CEO of Podium Automation, a Brooklyn-based company rebuilding the way industrial control panels are designed and manufactured. After leading commercial strategy and business operations at Tesla, Blue Origin, and Bowery Farming, she and co-founder Jacob Buser started Podium in 2024 to become the supplier they always wished they had. Podium ships UL 508A control panels in under four weeks - roughly a third of the industry's standard lead time - by replacing hand-drawn schematics with software. In June 2026 the company raised an $18M Series A led by Construct Capital, bringing total funding past $23M.
Alexander Tschopp
Alexander Tschopp is the co-founder and CEO of Tailored Industry, a Brooklyn-based on-demand knitwear manufacturer and software platform that uses Shima Seiki WHOLEGARMENT 3D knitting machines to produce luxury sweaters with zero minimum order quantities and 3-to-6-day turnaround. A Cornell Dyson School graduate who hooked into business after reading an Andrew Carnegie biography at age 12, he started selling college-branded products to hundreds of retailers as an undergrad before setting out to revive American knitwear manufacturing - eliminating overproduction by matching supply precisely to demand.
