Jim Bartoo
Jim Bartoo is the CEO and a board member of Visual Action Software, a Texas-based enterprise visualization company built on patented Flaremap treemap technology that helps organizations spot threats, monitor performance, and reduce risk. A Cornell-trained engineer with an MBA from the same school, he spent more than 25 years across Oracle, Business Objects, and EDS before leading The Hive Group and engineering its 2015 merger that formed today's Visual Action.
Monte Zweben
Monte Zweben is the co-founder and CEO of ControlRooms.ai, an AI troubleshooting platform for chemical and energy plants. A serial entrepreneur and AI pioneer, he ran NASA Ames' artificial intelligence branch (winning a Space Act Award for Space Shuttle work) before founding a string of companies: Red Pepper Software (merged into PeopleSoft), Blue Martini Software (which IPO'd at roughly $2.9 billion), and Splice Machine. He trained at Carnegie Mellon under AI legends Geoffrey Hinton, Herbert Simon and Allen Newell, holds a Stanford master's, co-authored the textbook Intelligent Scheduling, and now also advises AI Fund and sits on the board of Haven Safety AI.
Dan Hendrycks
Dan Hendrycks is the Executive Director of the Center for AI Safety (CAIS), the UC Berkeley PhD who created MMLU - the benchmark that shaped how the world measures AI intelligence - and invented GELU, the activation function running inside BERT, GPT, and virtually every major AI model. From a rural evangelical town in Missouri, he's become one of AI safety's most consequential voices, advising Elon Musk's xAI and Scale AI while sounding alarms about civilizational-scale AI risk, accepting $1/year to keep his independence intact.
