ammune.ai (formerly L7 Defense) is a cybersecurity company that builds ammune™, a fully autonomous, AI-based platform for protecting APIs - and, increasingly, AI systems and data centers - from cyberattacks. Using unsupervised machine learning, ammune auto-discovers APIs and builds a tailored protection layer for each one inline from the first request, blocking dozens of attack types (bots, DDoS, business-logic abuse, injection) in real time without pre-training or rule-writing. The platform is platform-agnostic, running on-premises, in the cloud, in Kubernetes clusters, and offloaded onto DPUs such as NVIDIA BlueField-2, and it recently expanded toward offline, air-gapped protection for AI workloads.
Replicated
Replicated is a commercial software distribution platform that helps independent software vendors ship and manage self-hosted, Kubernetes-based applications inside their customers' own environments - on-prem, air-gapped, VPC, VM, bare metal, or edge. Founded in 2015 by Grant Miller and Marc Campbell, the company gives SaaS vendors the tooling to package, install, license, update, and support enterprise deployments they don't directly control, letting them close security-sensitive enterprise and government customers without building distribution infrastructure themselves.
Coder
Coder is an Austin-based software company that moves software development off individual laptops and into secure, self-hosted cloud development environments (CDEs). Its open-source and enterprise platform uses infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) to provision standardized, governed developer workspaces that run on Kubernetes or VMs across any cloud, on-prem, or air-gapped setup. Increasingly, Coder positions itself as the control plane for enterprise AI development, where human developers and AI coding agents work inside the same governed environment. It raised a $90M Series C led by KKR in April 2026.
Mattermost
Mattermost is an open-source, self-hostable collaboration platform built for organizations that cannot put their conversations in someone else's cloud. Started as a game studio's internal chat tool and open-sourced in 2015, it grew into the leading self-hosted alternative to Slack and Microsoft Teams, combining channel messaging, voice and screen sharing, incident-response Playbooks, and integrated AI agents. Its customers skew toward defense, government, financial services, and technology organizations - from the U.S. Air Force to Uber - that need data sovereignty, air-gapped deployment, and government-grade security.
