Usama Syed
Usama Syed is a board-certified dermatologist turned startup founder, and the co-founder and CEO of FutureClinic (YC F24), a platform that lets any licensed doctor open a chat-based digital clinic. Trained in medicine and business at Imperial College London, he moved from the UK to New York for a dermatology residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he became chief resident and later faculty. Alongside clinical work he built an audience of more than 300,000 followers as a science-first skincare creator, co-founded the education company Liberty Medics, and now runs a company describing itself as building digital clinics that are 99% AI and 1% doctor.
Christina Lopes
Christina Lopes is the CEO and co-founder of The One Health Company, the maker of FidoCure, the first human-grade precision cancer treatment platform for dogs. A former managing director at the $30B private equity firm Cerberus Capital, she left high finance to build a company that sequences canine tumors, matches them with targeted therapies, and feeds the resulting clinico-genomic data back into the fight against human cancer. Dr. Sungwon Lim is the CEO and Co-Founder of ImpriMed, Inc., a Palo Alto-based precision oncology company that combines live cancer cell testing with AI to predict which drugs will work best for an individual patient's cancer - before treatment begins. Having raised $23M in Series A funding led by SoftBank Ventures Asia, ImpriMed has helped treat over 6,500 dogs with blood cancers across 130+ specialty hospitals in the US, Canada, England, and France, while publishing clinical data showing AI predictions tripled survival rates in relapsed B-cell lymphoma. A Stanford-trained bioengineer inspired by the potential of one powerful medicine to save millions, Lim pioneered a pivot into veterinary oncology as a proving ground before expanding the platform to human cancer treatment.
