SMEs are most of the UAE economy and a fraction of its lending. CredibleX embeds working capital where business already happens - and turned Mubadala into a lead investor with a $15 million Series A.
FinFlx is a Dubai-based fintech that helps UAE companies forecast, fund and manage their employees' end-of-service gratuity in line with local labour law. Its platform automates gratuity calculations for HR and finance teams, lets employers park those liabilities in a segregated, professionally managed fund, and gives employees an app with a flexible savings account paying a guaranteed 4-5% return. Founded by Amr Yussif and Matthieu Capelle after Yussif's own gratuity was withheld, FinFlx went through Y Combinator's W22 batch and is regulated by the FSRA in Abu Dhabi Global Market.
Hubpay is a UAE-regulated fintech that gives small and medium businesses a global payments platform - multi-currency business accounts, competitive FX, cross-border payroll, and regulated payment links in one dashboard. Founded in 2019 by Kevin Kilty and licensed under the Abu Dhabi Global Market, it was the first independently regulated fintech in the UAE authorized to offer digital money services, and it now connects the UAE with markets across Asia, Africa, and Europe.
Klickl is a regulated Web3 open-finance platform headquartered in Abu Dhabi that bridges traditional banking and digital assets. In December 2024 it raised a $25M Series A at a $125M valuation to expand across the MENA region and other emerging markets.
Napkin Inc. is a Miami-founded, Abu Dhabi-incorporated company that buys, builds and grows cash-flowing digital service providers - creative agencies, SaaS, fintech and e-commerce shops - and rolls them into a shared, revenue-sharing structure it likens to turning digital transactions into tradable royalty streams. Led by co-founder and CEO Matthew Liberto, the company batches acquisitions of 'digital disruptors' and gives selling founders and staff common equity rather than the preferred-heavy terms of a traditional private-equity fund. Its work has since expanded into Napkin Deals, an online marketplace connecting buyers, sellers and capital providers across M&A, financing and digital-asset transactions.
