BetConstruct sells the machinery behind the bet

The Armenian-born technology supplier lets operators assemble a gambling business from software, games and services. Its next wager is that customers will buy more of the operation, from AI-assisted marketing to prediction markets.

A betting website has a shop window: the match, the odds, the button inviting a wager. Behind it sits a less photogenic business. Someone must update prices, reconcile wallets, settle bets, answer customers and decide which games deserve space on the screen. BetConstruct sells much of that machinery. Its customer is the operator whose brand appears above the action.

The appeal is easy to understand. A business can buy a sportsbook, add casino games and order supporting services without assembling every component itself. The complication arrives with the shopping list: a platform can supply the technology, but somebody still owns the commercial decisions. BetConstruct is interesting because it has spent years pushing that boundary, from software into more of the daily work of running a gambling operation.

01Four people, one bookmaker, a software problem

Vigen and Vahe Badalyan began Vivaro in Yerevan in 2003 with four people. The name was a family construction: the opening letters of Vigen, Vahe and their father, Roman. In a 2019 interview, Vigen described a shortage of suitable gaming software and the founders’ preference for making things themselves. They built for the business they were already running.

“BetConstruct’s global supply business has its roots in bookmaking,” he said. That history helps explain the product. A bookmaker experiences software as a sequence of practical demands: record this bet, change that price, pay this customer. Selling the resulting tools to other operators meant turning internal know-how into something strangers could configure and use.

The dates need distinguishing. The operating roots reach back to 2003; Gambling Insider dates the BetConstruct game-providing system to 2011. Today the brand belongs to SoftConstruct, the technology group that also includes VBET, FeedConstruct and CreedRoomz. BetConstruct’s commercial headquarters are in London, while its Armenian origins remain visible in its leadership and development base. Its family includes both the supplier and a consumer betting operator.

02The screen the player never sees

SpringBME is the organising idea. Unveiled in 2017, the business management engine gives operators a place to select products, manage projects and order services. That makes the platform something closer to a working console than a box of unrelated software. A casino offering, a sportsbook and supporting operational tools can be selected within the same environment.

The range extends beyond the obvious. Alongside poker and virtual sports sit regional card and tile games, including Hokm, Pasoor and Okey. There are cashier and retail betting tools, too. This is a supplier selling to businesses with different audiences and habits; a catalogue limited to football and familiar casino tables would miss part of that demand.

The daily detail matters as much as the catalogue. SpringBME’s payment documentation, for example, walks turnkey partners through enabling a payment method and deciding whether it supports deposits, withdrawals or both. SpringBuilder and CMS tools handle the website. Trading, support and risk services address work that continues after the site launches. For a buyer, the attraction is having fewer separate connections to organise.

An existing operator can take a narrower route. BetConstruct’s API offering allows individual betting or casino products to connect to another platform. Its public GitHub organisation also contains frontend projects and a JavaScript SDK. The presence of code is useful evidence of a customisation route, although a repository alone says little about the support and delivery commitments in a commercial contract.

THREE WAYS IN

How much of the operation are you buying?

01
White label

Branded platform with broader provider operating arrangements.

02
Turnkey

Platform and products for partners with their own licences and wallets.

03
API

Selected products connected to an existing operator platform.

Delivery models, not a ranking. Responsibilities depend on the contract and market.

03A price tag is not an operating budget

BetConstruct’s public catalogue puts numbers beside products. In September 2026, Sportsbook started at €19,900, while Casino Platform was listed at €10,000. Other lines recur: CRM AI was €1,500 per month and Umbrella, its risk-management product, €1,000 per month. Those different units matter. A product price and a monthly service charge answer different questions.

The buying model changes the responsibilities. Turnkey is pitched to partners maintaining their own licences and wallets. White label packages more of the legal, financial and administrative operation under provider arrangements, subject to the relevant market. API delivery serves businesses fitting selected products into an existing platform. The sensible comparison is the scope of the contract, including what the operator must provide.

On August 14, 2026, BetConstruct announced its Purest Sportsbook offer: setup discounts of 65 percent for Latin America, Africa and Asia, and 50 percent elsewhere, plus introductory fee waivers. New Latin American sportsbook deals received a longer free period. Contracts had to be fully executed before October 1. Operational services were excluded from the free internal-tools offer.

The practical lesson is to price the months after the promotion. Ask for each recurring charge, the revenue-share basis where applicable, the included services and the responsibilities left with the operator. Introductory terms change the launch bill; the business must still afford its continuing operation.

04The in-house builder opens a door

A broad catalogue can encourage a supplier to keep adding its own products. BetConstruct’s May 2024 deal with Fast Track makes an interesting departure. Fast Track described the integration as the first time BetConstruct had brought in an outside CRM solution. Operators could use the specialist’s customer-engagement tools alongside the betting and gaming platform.

The commercial purpose was specific: connect real-time player information to more targeted communications and automated campaigns. In July 2024, Fast Track identified Brazil’s Suprema Group as a customer using BetConstruct across gaming brands. In January 2025, the two suppliers announced a Latin American expansion of their partnership, with Suprema among the operators already using the combination.

This suggests a useful reading of BetConstruct’s strategy. The value of an integrated platform can increase when it accommodates a specialist a customer wants. The operator gets a more useful combination; the platform remains part of the account. For other software businesses, the decision worth copying is to define integration as part of the product, with a clear customer need behind it.

05The data came with an owner

Building software does not settle every dependency. SoftConstruct’s dispute with Genius Sports concerned rights in sports-data databases. Genius’s filings described allegations of copying and use; BetConstruct defended the claim and raised a competition-law counterclaim. The litigation was resolved in December 2022 rather than proceeding to the scheduled trial.

The settlement, announced in January 2023, included purchasing a multi-year licence to supply Genius data through BetConstruct and FeedConstruct. The licence acknowledged Genius’s database rights. It was a concrete change in the commercial relationship: a legal adversary became a licensed source of an input the platform could distribute to customers.

The episode exposes a limit to the instinct to build everything. A betting product depends on material that other organisations control. The engineering team can design the connection; the business must secure the right to use what travels through it. For anyone studying the company, that is a more instructive setback than a tidy founder story in which every obstacle yields to better code.

06Now the catalogue includes the news

By 2026, BetConstruct was prominently using the BetConstruct AI name. Its promoted suite included CRM AI, Umbrella AI, game recommendations and betting assistance. These products apply automation to recognisable operator tasks: communicating with players, detecting risks and choosing what to show them. Their business value depends on how well those tasks are performed within a particular operation.

The company is also expanding what customers can offer. Its June 22 agreement with ADI Predictstreet covered prediction-market technology and official match streaming rights for Europe and selected international markets. Separately, its August commercial offer promoted Eventbook, built around yes-or-no questions about real-world events, including subjects beyond sport.

Those additions extend the platform’s commercial reach. A supplier organised around sporting fixtures can also sell operators a way to present other events. But a new market category still needs suitable rules, reliable settlement and permission in the intended jurisdiction. Putting another product into a console does not make those questions disappear. The operator has to evaluate the proposed market as carefully as the software delivering it.

07Buying the machinery, keeping the judgement

BetConstruct competes in a busy part of the market. EveryMatrix offers an integrated platform spanning accounts, wallet, casino, sportsbook and operating services. Digitain sells a turnkey package combining sportsbook, casino aggregation, CRM and payments. Breadth is part of the competition, rather than an exclusive invention. BetConstruct’s distinguishing combination is its bookmaker ancestry, wide product range and multiple ways of buying into the system.

The fit depends on what the customer already has. A business seeking several gambling products and shared operating tools has a reason to examine the full platform. An established operator with its own accounts and website may have a better use for an API connection. A team needing only a narrow function should compare that component directly with specialist alternatives.

Control belongs in that calculation. Operators should establish how data can be exported, who handles incidents, what customisation is supported and which party is responsible for each regulated activity. The UK Gambling Commission lists BetConstruct as a trading name of Soft Construct (Malta) Limited. A supplier’s credentials still have to match the activity and contractual entity a customer intends to use.

For a reader outside gambling, the transferable idea is straightforward: learn an operation deeply enough to identify its repeated work, turn that work into a configurable product, and leave room for outside expertise. BetConstruct has made a business of selling the backstage. Its customers still have to give the audience a reason to walk through their particular front door.
