Before he built Nixtla, Max Mergenthaler Canseco studied how people think and wrote about what machines might change. His forecasting company carries those questions into a world of inventories, electricity demand and decisions that cannot wait.

He began with philosophy, taught himself Python and R, studied how people make choices, and built Nixtla around a stubborn idea: the future should be easier to work with than thousands of lines of forecasting code.
