Tavus is a San Francisco AI company building the interface for face-to-face conversation between humans and machines. Its Conversational Video Interface (CVI) lets developers add real-time, emotionally aware AI video agents - what Tavus calls PALs - to any app through an API. Backed by CRV, Sequoia, Scale Venture Partners, Y Combinator and HubSpot Ventures, Tavus raised a $40M Series B in November 2025, bringing total funding to roughly $82M.

Twitch is the world's largest live-streaming platform, where creators broadcast video games, IRL content, music, and talk shows to a real-time audience that talks back in chat. Founded as a gaming-focused spin-off of Justin.tv in 2011 and acquired by Amazon in 2014, Twitch turned watching someone play a game into a social, participatory medium, building a creator economy powered by subscriptions, Bits, ads, and a culture of emotes and live community.

Kwindla Hultman Kramer is co-founder and CEO of Daily.co, a developer platform providing real-time voice, video, and AI infrastructure. He is also the creator of Pipecat, the most widely used open-source framework for building voice AI agents. A Harvard and MIT Media Lab alumnus, Kwindla has spent his career at the intersection of real-time communication and developer infrastructure—from scaling AllAfrica.com as CTO to building spatial computing interfaces at Oblong Industries to raising $62M+ for Daily and releasing Pipecat to the open-source community.
