Akash Sharma
Akash Sharma is the co-founder and CEO of Vellum, a New York-based enterprise AI development platform that helps teams build, evaluate, and ship production-grade LLM applications. A UC Berkeley graduate who spent five years at McKinsey's Silicon Valley office, he started Vellum in 2023 with two MIT engineers he met at the startup Dover. The company went through Y Combinator (W23), raised $25M+ to date including a $20M Series A in July 2025, and works with 150+ companies from Redfin and Drata to Cursor and Headspace. Sharma is known for talking to thousands of teams running LLMs in production and openly sharing what he learns.

Vellum is a New York-based AI development platform that helps companies build, evaluate, deploy, and monitor production-grade LLM applications and AI agents. Founded in early 2023 by three engineers who kept hitting the same wall - prototypes that demo well but break in production - Vellum gives teams a workflow builder, an evaluation suite, version-controlled deployments, and live monitoring so they can move AI from proof-of-concept to reliable production systems. The platform works with more than 150 companies including Drata, Redfin, Swisscom, and Headspace, and raised a $20M Series A led by Leaders Fund in July 2025.
Braintrust
Braintrust is the end-to-end developer platform for shipping AI products. It connects evaluations, observability, prompt iteration, and an agentic optimizer (Loop) into one workflow so engineering teams can measure, debug, and improve LLM applications in production. Teams at Notion, Stripe, Vercel, Airtable, Instacart, Zapier, Ramp, Dropbox, Cloudflare and BILL use it to ship AI that doesn't silently regress.
OpenArt AI
OpenArt AI is a San Francisco-based AI creative platform founded in 2022 by former Google engineers Coco Mao and John Qiao. The platform aggregates 100+ AI models - including DALL-E 3, Stable Diffusion, Google Veo 3, Kling, and Sora - under a single interface, letting creators generate images, videos, music, and 3D environments without switching tools. From hobbyists making tabletop RPG art to agencies building brand-consistent content at scale, OpenArt serves roughly 8 million monthly active users. The company reached $70M+ ARR in 2025 with a 20-person team, then closed a $30M Series A led by Canaan Partners in January 2026.
Jay Dang
Jay Dang (Jiacheng Dang) is the co-founder and CEO of Kaon (formerly FlowGPT), an AI-native content platform he launched in January 2023 just two days after founding the company - at age 20 during his freshman year at UC Berkeley. He subsequently dropped out to lead FlowGPT full-time, growing the platform to 3+ million monthly active users and 100,000+ AI applications across 110 countries before raising a $10M pre-Series A round in February 2024 led by Goodwater Capital and DCM Ventures. Under his leadership, the company rebranded to Kaon and launched Emochi, an AI storytelling app that reached #12 globally with 12.3M monthly active users by April 2026.
Harrison Chase
Harrison Chase is the co-founder and CEO of LangChain, the open-source framework that became the default scaffolding for developers building LLM-powered applications. Starting as an 800-line Python package he wrote as a side project in October 2022, LangChain has grown to serve 1 million+ developers, 80 million monthly downloads, and blue-chip enterprise customers from Uber to JPMorgan - reaching a $1.25 billion valuation after a $125 million Series B in October 2025. A Harvard-trained statistician who got into machine learning through sports analytics, Chase built LangChain to solve the problem he kept running into at work: there was no good way to chain LLM calls together into reliable, production-ready applications.
Sabrina Ramonov
Sabrina Ramonov is a Filipina-American AI educator, serial founder, and creator on a mission to teach 10 million people AI for free. A UC Berkeley CS and Physics graduate and Forbes 30 Under 30 alumna (2018), she co-founded and sold Qurious.io (AI speech analytics) to Pegasystems for $10M+ in 2021, then rebuilt from burnout to grow 2M+ followers and 500M+ views in roughly one year — solo, with zero budget, no team, and no paid ads. She runs the Sabrina Ramonov newsletter on Substack (194K+ free subscribers), creates ~250 pieces of content per week, and solo-built Blotato.com, a social media automation SaaS with 1.4M+ website visitors. In March 2026, she launched Women Build AI, a selective free community for women founders building with AI.
Elvis Saravia
Elvis Saravia is the co-founder and lead AI researcher at DAIR.AI, a mission-driven organization democratizing AI research and education worldwide. Based in Belize, he is the author of the Prompt Engineering Guide - one of the most widely read AI resources on the internet with 73,000+ GitHub stars and over 3 million learners - and publishes the AI Agents Weekly newsletter. A PhD graduate from National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan, he has contributed to landmark AI projects including the Galactica large language model at Meta AI, and is known for bridging rigorous research with accessible, production-minded education for the next generation of AI builders.
