Jared Yaman
Jared Yaman is the CEO and a co-founder of Spresso, a New York-based AI company that builds pricing intelligence and price-optimization software for retail, CPG, and ecommerce businesses. A three-time founder with a University of Michigan law and economics background, he previously co-founded and served as COO of Boxed, the online wholesale retailer that competed with Walmart, Costco, and Amazon, weathered the pandemic, and went public before winding down. At Spresso he is turning the pricing engine built inside Boxed into a standalone product, arguing that AI should supplement rather than replace human judgment.
Pierre Hebrard
Pierre Hebrard is the CEO and co-founder of Pricemoov, a Paris-based SaaS platform that helps enterprises set, govern, and optimize prices using AI. He started the company in 2016 after a career that took him from investment banking in London and trading in Hong Kong to running Jumia's operations across Kenya and Nigeria. In April 2023 Pricemoov raised a $10 million Series A led by ISAI and Bpifrance Digital Venture.
Mark Chrystal
Dr. Mark Chrystal is the CEO and co-founder of Profitmind, a Pittsburgh-based agentic AI startup that gives retailers a team of AI analysts for pricing, inventory, assortment, forecasting and competitive intelligence. A 25-year retail operator who ran analytics, supply chain and e-commerce at rue21, David's Bridal, American Eagle, Disney Store and Victoria's Secret, he was recruited by AI pioneer Andrew Ng to build software 'for retailers by retailers.' The company, formerly known as Netail, has raised roughly $14 million to date, including a $9 million Series A backed by Accenture Ventures, with partnerships spanning Accenture and Microsoft.
Ronak Sheth
Ronak Sheth is the CEO of Pricefx, the cloud-native pricing software company, where he has pushed a disciplined 'smart growth' playbook and an aggressive bet on AI pricing agents. He arrived in 2021 as President and Chief Revenue Officer and took the top job in 2022. Before Pricefx he co-founded and led Label Insight, a B2B data SaaS company acquired by NielsenIQ. A Northwestern-trained industrial engineer with a Washington University MBA, he is a fixture of the St. Louis startup scene, sitting on boards and mentoring founders through Arch Grants.
Andy Ballard
Andy Ballard is the CEO and co-founder of Wiser Solutions, Inc., the San Mateo-based omnichannel retail intelligence platform he built through the 2017 merger of Quad Analytix and Mobee. A Harvard undergrad and Stanford MBA, Ballard spent nearly a decade at Hellman & Friedman where he sat on the boards of DoubleClick, Getty Images, Internet Brands, and Catalina Marketing before launching Quad Analytix in 2012. Today he leads a 510-person company that tracks billions of online and in-store data points for over 750 global brands and retailers, while also serving on the boards of Domino's Pizza and Etsy, and running Figtree Partners, his software-focused investment firm.
