Instead of screenshotting charts from Looker or Snowflake into Google Slides, teams could connect live data sources directly into decks, so charts stayed interactive and up to date - even re-segmentable during a live Q&A. Founded in 2024 by data scientist Dori Wilson with engineers Ellen Hui and John Stimac, the company later pivoted toward an AI-powered presentation editor and shipped a free AI Presentation Review tool before winding the core Presentations product down at the end of 2025.
Materialize
Materialize is a New York-based data infrastructure company that builds a streaming SQL database. It continuously ingests data from operational systems, incrementally maintains the results of complex SQL queries as always-fresh materialized views, and serves them with low latency. Built on the open-source Timely Dataflow and Differential Dataflow engines and written in Rust, Materialize looks and behaves like Postgres, letting engineers use standard SQL to power real-time analytics, automation, personalization, fraud detection, and - more recently - a live context layer for AI agents and applications.
Coefficient
Coefficient is a Palo Alto software company that pipes live business data into the spreadsheets people already use. Its no-code connectors link Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel to more than 100 systems - Salesforce, HubSpot, Snowflake, QuickBooks, Shopify and more - with two-way sync, scheduled refreshes, alerts and AI-assisted dashboards. Founded in 2015 by Navneet Loiwal and Tommy Tsai, Coefficient has raised $24.7M and counts Zendesk, Spotify, Miro and Klaviyo among its users.
