NevadaNano
NevadaNano (Nevada Nanotech Systems, Inc.) is a Sparks, Nevada company that builds MEMS gas sensors and hardware-enabled SaaS for detecting flammable gases and quantifying methane and other emissions. Its patented Molecular Property Spectrometer (MPS) measures the thermodynamic properties of a gas mixture instead of relying on chemical reactions, delivering multi-gas detection with a 15-year life and no field calibration. The MPS platform powers flammable, refrigerant, methane, and hydrogen sensors, and underpins MethaneTrack, a continuous methane-monitoring system used to cut LDAR costs and meet OGMP 2.0 reporting requirements.
Ian Rogoff
Ian Rogoff is the CEO and a board member of NevadaNano (Nevada Nanotech Systems), a Sparks, Nevada company building semiconductor-based gas sensors and IoT emissions-monitoring systems used by some of the world's largest industrial operators. A former Microsoft Consulting Services VP turned climate-tech operator and investor, he co-founded Sierra Nevada Partners and chairs New Energy Nexus (the California Clean Energy Fund). Under his leadership NevadaNano raised a $30M Series C in 2023 led by Honeywell Ventures and Emerson Ventures, and its MethaneTrack platform won Best Industrial and IIoT Solution at Sensors Converge 2026.
