With a PhD in electrical engineering and more than 30 years in the industry, he spent two decades at Motorola, helped pioneer commercial MRAM as a founder and COO of Everspin, ran a $500M microcontroller business as CTO of Spansion, and holds more than 75 US patents. In 2008 he received the IEEE Daniel Noble Award for the development of MRAM technology.
