Brendan Horgan and the art of owning less
He joined Sunbelt Rentals as a sales representative in 1996. Thirty years later, Brendan Horgan leads a business built around a persuasive proposition: customers need the equipment, without necessarily needing to own it.
William Greenberg
William 'Bill' Greenberg is a theoretical-physicist-turned-financier who runs Two Harbors Investment Corp (rebranded 'Two'), the mortgage REIT whose in-house servicing engine is RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing LLC. He holds a PhD in theoretical nuclear physics and has spent 25+ years managing structured-finance portfolios at Natixis, UBS and the Swiss National Bank's StabFund before joining Two Harbors in 2012 and becoming CEO in 2020. He pushed the company to bring mortgage servicing in-house by acquiring RoundPoint in 2023, then steered the firm through a high-profile 2025-2026 takeover battle that ended with UWM Holdings agreeing to buy the company.
