KARDA, Inc. is a San Francisco-based artificial intelligence company that turns police body-worn camera footage into fully drafted, court-ready reports in minutes. Founded in 2023 by Stanford-trained engineer Armando Torres, KARDA uses video and audio analysis, natural language processing, and machine learning to cut the two-to-four hours officers spend on daily paperwork down to roughly ten minutes. The platform is FBI CJIS compliant, uses end-to-end encryption, integrates with existing Records Management Systems, and adds a multilingual kiosk for non-emergency community crime reporting.
