Nitrode
Nitrode is a San Francisco AI research company building the evaluation, data, and post-training layer for game development. It started in Y Combinator's Winter 2025 batch as a Godot-based AI game engine that let anyone prototype a 3D game in a day, then pivoted toward frontier research: it runs GameEngineBench, a benchmark that scores how well AI models handle real game-engine coding tasks, and produces expert-labeled datasets and reinforcement-learning environments (including Unreal Engine 5) for AI labs and enterprises. Nitrode's bet is that game development will be handled by systems of specialized models working together, not one general-purpose model.
BlueMark
BlueMark is an independent impact verification and market-intelligence firm for the sustainable and impact investing industry. Spun out of impact consultancy Tideline in 2020 and led by CEO Christina Leijonhufvud, it audits how asset managers, allocators and issuers measure, manage and report the social and environmental impact of their investments. Its verifications, benchmarks and analytics - including the flagship 'Making the Mark' report and the BlueMark IQ intelligence platform - help investors prove their impact claims are credible and reduce the risk of impact-washing.
Protege
Protege is a New York-based AI data platform that connects owners of private, real-world data - hospitals, media libraries, motion-capture studios and more - with the AI labs and enterprises that need it to train, fine-tune and evaluate models. It licenses and curates proprietary datasets under strict privacy, IP and compliance controls, so data holders get paid and provenance is preserved. Founded in 2024 by Bobby Samuels and Travis May, Protege has assembled access to billions of clinical notes, hundreds of millions of medical images, and hundreds of thousands of hours of video and audio, positioning itself as core infrastructure for the post-web era of AI development.
