The Google CX Product Maze, Finally Mapped
CCAI, Agent Assist, CX Agent Studio, Gemini Enterprise for CX. Four names, four different things. Here is the plain-language map most vendor pages never bother to draw.
Ask ten contact-center buyers to explain the difference between CCAI, Agent Assist, CX Agent Studio and Gemini Enterprise for CX, and you will get eleven answers. That is not a knock on the buyers. It is a knock on the naming. Google has built one of the most capable customer-experience AI portfolios on the market, then wrapped it in an alphabet soup that even seasoned technology buyers struggle to ladle apart.
Most vendor pages do not help. They name-drop the acronyms as if the words alone close the deal, and rarely say which product is which or what you actually get when you sign the contract. So consider this the map. No jargon for jargon's sake, no marketing fog — just the four names, what each one is, and one relationship worth understanding before you buy anything.
01Why buyers get lost
The confusion is structural, not personal. Google's lineup mixes categories that live at different altitudes. One term is a platform. One is a builder. One is a feature that rides alongside your human agents. And one is a brand umbrella that quietly contains the other three. When a page lists them side by side as if they were competing options, you are being handed a menu where the appetizer, the kitchen and the restaurant itself all appear on the same line.
If a vendor page name-drops CCAI without telling you what you actually get, that is a red flag, not a feature list.
The cost of that confusion is real. Teams end up comparing a platform to a plug-in, or budgeting for a "product" that turns out to be a capability they already had. So let us fix the altitude problem first, then walk down the stack.
02Gemini Enterprise for CX: the umbrella
Start at the top. In 2026, Google unified its contact-center AI portfolio under Gemini Enterprise for Customer Experience. Think of it as the house, not a single room. It pulls together the CCAI Platform, Dialogflow CX, Agent Assist and Customer Experience Insights into one ecosystem, designed to manage AI agents across the entire customer lifecycle — from a shopper's first product-discovery question to a post-purchase resolution. When someone says "Gemini Enterprise for CX," they mean the whole building.
03CCAI: the platform underneath
Contact Center AI, or CCAI, is Google's contact-center-as-a-service platform — the foundation the house is built on. It handles the unglamorous but essential work: routing, telephony, self-service and the agent desktop. It was the original heavyweight in this space, and analysts noticed early.

The friendlier-named products that came later — the studio, the assist layer — all sit on top of this foundation. If you are evaluating "the platform," CCAI is the word you are looking for.
04CX Agent Studio: the builder
CX Agent Studio is the workshop. It is a low-code / no-code, Gemini-powered agent builder with a guided interface that lets teams design, evaluate and deploy conversational AI agents in days rather than weeks. If Gemini Enterprise for CX is the house and CCAI is the foundation, CX Agent Studio is the room where you actually assemble the virtual agents that will talk to your customers.
05Agent Assist: the co-pilot for humans
Agent Assist is the one product on this list aimed at your employees, not your customers. It rides alongside a live conversation and whispers in the representative's ear: real-time transcription, generated replies, knowledge surfacing, next-best-action coaching and post-interaction summarization. It does not replace the human agent. It makes the human agent faster and more accurate.
06Where UJET actually sits
Here is the distinction that matters most, and the one buyers miss. Being listed in a cloud marketplace means a vendor is one logo among hundreds — a directory entry you scroll past. UJET's relationship is a different animal. Google Cloud sells Google Cloud CCaaS powered by UJET as a first-party offering. The UJET platform is the delivery vehicle Google Cloud itself uses to package its enterprise-grade CX, CCaaS and agentic AI — bundling Gemini Enterprise for CX, CX Agent Studio and Agent Assist into a service Google brings to market under its own name.

On April 13, 2026, that reach widened. Google Cloud CCaaS by UJET launched as a managed service for the midmarket and SMB segments through the AVANT channel, letting Trusted Advisors deliver Google's CX capabilities without demanding large enterprise agreements or heavy cloud-spend commitments. The partnership itself is not new — UJET's first Google Cloud CCAI tie-up dates to January 6, 2021 — but the on-ramp has never been this wide.
07How to read the map as a buyer
Strip away the acronyms and the whole thing fits in four words plus one purchase path. Gemini Enterprise for CX is the umbrella. CCAI is the platform. CX Agent Studio is where you build your virtual agents. Agent Assist is what supports your human agents. And Google Cloud CCaaS powered by UJET is one of the ways you actually buy and run the entire stack — first-party from Google Cloud, rather than pieced together from parts.
The stack is a staircase, not a cliff. Buyers can start with a single standalone point solution — a virtual agent, Agent Assist, or conversational analytics — layered on top of an existing setup, then graduate to the full CCaaS platform when the timing is right. You do not have to swallow the whole house to move into one room.
The map in one glance
- Gemini Enterprise for CX — the umbrella brand over everything.
- CCAI — the platform: routing, telephony, self-service, agent desktop.
- CX Agent Studio — the builder for conversational agents, in days not weeks.
- Agent Assist — the co-pilot that helps your human reps live.
- CCaaS powered by UJET — the first-party way Google Cloud sells and runs the stack.
The vendors will not usually draw you this map, because a little confusion sells a lot of demos. But once you can name the four altitudes and spot the difference between a marketplace logo and a first-party offering, the fog lifts — and the buying decision gets a great deal simpler.
