# UJET

> UJET is a cloud-native contact center software company founded in 2015 by Anand Janefalkar, a former Motorola and Jawbone engineer. Rather than out-feature giants like Five9, 8x8, Twilio and Salesforce, UJET tied its fortunes to Google Cloud, becoming the engine behind Google's own first-party contact center offering. In 2024 it raised $76M in Series D funding; in January 2026 Janefalkar moved to chairman and chief evangelist while Vasili Triant took over as CEO; and in April 2026 the company launched Google Cloud CCaaS by UJET, a managed service that pushes Google's agentic AI down into the small-business and midmarket segment through the AVANT channel.
